Neuroimmunology is a rapidly evolving field with increasing diagnostic and therapeutic complexity. The Neuroimmunology Summer School (NISS) 2026 offers a concise, practice-oriented, and patient-centered update on key neuroimmunological topics, tailored to neurologists and neurology residents.The 2026 edition is jointly organized by the Department of Neurology at the Cantonal Hospital Aarau, the Bellevue Medical Group, and the Ospedale Regionale di Lugano, and will take place on August 28–29, 2026, in Lugano, Switzerland.

Preliminary Program
We are pleased to announce that nationally and internationally renowned experts will deliver lectures throughout this two-day event. The scientific program is structured into four dedicated modules: autoimmune encephalitis, peripheral nervous system disorders, diagnostic tools and biomarkers in neuroimmunology, and neuroinfectious diseases. The modules address clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, and current therapeutic strategies with high relevance for daily neurological practice.
